I have lived in Ogmore-by-Sea since 1982 and I remember that it once had three pubs and a hotel: The Craig-yr-Eos, the Brig-y-Don, the Pirates and the the Sea lawns Hotel.
Now it has none. This can't be acceptable in a village with over one thousand homes. Surely we can support one Pub. We need a village pub. Please help to make the Villagers pub a reality. Where would be the ideal place to locate the Villagers Pub?
Does anyone have any ideas where the Villagers Pub should be situated?
The derelict building site (pictured on the right) which is situated off Crompton Way in Ogmore-by-Sea now seems unviable.
However, with the cooperation of the local authorities, the ideal site would seem to be on or near the beach car park. Please let me have your views.
